About AL KARAL
Most livestock farmers believe that affordable organic additives alone cannot preserve the health and numbers of a herd, especially of young animals, improve the taste of the meat and, on top of that, increase weight by more than 20%. Everyone knows that organic meat is several times more expensive, and many believe that its production cost is high as well, but this is a myth. We have broken this stereotype. The word our customers use most often is “miracle”. At first we encounter skepticism, distrust and doubt, but after the feed additive has been used, warm meetings, joy at the results and gratitude await us.
If someone had told me five years ago, “Life will take you into the agricultural sector: you will travel to the regions, visit farms, talk to the best livestock specialists and read books on veterinary medicine and animal science”, I certainly would not have believed it.
But the Creator has His own plan for all of us. When scientists came to me in 2017 and proposed the idea of producing natural feed additives based on humic substances in Kazakhstan, I was skeptical. First, having read a great deal of literature, I saw that experiments with such preparations in different countries had led to different conclusions. Second, even to a financier, neither our country’s considerable lag in introducing innovations in livestock farming nor the state of veterinary care was news. Third, as marketing analysis showed, only 20% of the country’s livestock is in the hands of professionals, while the rest belongs to small farms and private households. Fourth, you cannot reach our customers through the internet; as they say in Russian, you have to go out “into the field”.
Despite all the doubts, it was decided to test the effect of the preparation first and only then draw final conclusions. For a year I traveled to various farms around Almaty, gaining hands-on experience. After each trip I became more and more convinced of how uncontrolled and difficult the situation in our livestock farming had become. Worst of all, I saw with my own eyes the quality of the milk and meat that end up on our tables. With no regard for the quality of the final product, animals are freely given antibiotics, hormones and obscure injections from Chinese syringes to increase their weight. Our preparation, in addition to its main properties, is an antioxidant and easily removes all toxins, heavy metal salts, radionuclides and antibiotic residues from the animal’s body.
While the team and I were traveling around the fields, our process engineer was perfecting the quality and technology of the product. Only when we had arrived at the best formula and seen the excellent results of the preparation was the decision made to build our own production facility.
It was then that I clearly understood that our company’s mission is the health of the nation. During my years in banking I had, of course, also worked with agricultural projects, but they were mostly grain crops and various traders. It’s no secret that all these projects were always flagged as high-risk. Now, having studied the agricultural sector from the inside, I understand that true entrepreneurs are people who are not afraid to engage in livestock farming, the most complex but also the most important field.
Let me tell you a little about our product and its uniqueness.
Our additive is based on humic substances. They are a complex of natural compounds with special properties that forms through the natural oxidation of flora and fauna deposits accumulated over thousands of years. Scientists around the world have long proven that humic substances have a therapeutic effect on the bodies of animals and humans. Humic substances are used to strengthen immunity, restore damaged tissue and prevent various diseases. Thus, nature itself has created a valuable source of unique substances.
The raw material for our feed additive is leonardite. It is lignite that has oxidized under natural conditions as a result of prolonged weathering. This soft, shiny, waxy mineraloid is black or brown in color. It is a natural mineral complex of phenolic hydrocarbons. This leonardite contains a sufficient amount of humic substances, which the vast land of Kazakhstan has accumulated, improved and preserved for us over millions of years.
Humic substances consist of humic and fulvic acids.
Humic acids not only have an antioxidant effect, perform a protective function and show antiviral and antibacterial activity, but also act as hepatoprotectors. Humic acids also remove pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms from the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to the growth of beneficial microflora and has a positive effect on the body’s ability to absorb nutrients. Thanks to this, AL KARAL delivers an impressive result: an average daily weight gain of more than 1,200 grams.
If humic acids help the body, fulvic acids work wonders, acting on the body at the intracellular level. Fulvic acids have two main advantages: first, they can convert minerals and beneficial components into a form the body easily absorbs. Their second advantage is the ability to penetrate the cell membrane, meaning that fulvic acids deliver all the elements the body needs directly into the cell and remove toxins on the way back. In this way, the animal’s body is healed from within, immunity is strengthened, and the body develops resistance to external pathogens, microbes and toxins.
While global alternatives offer feed additives with a maximum fulvic acid content of 25%, we can proudly say that we have reached 65% fulvic acids.
