How to prevent avian influenza?
Avian influenza is an infectious viral disease of birds that affects the digestive and respiratory organs. The disease is transmitted through feed or water, as well as through direct contact with infected birds. It leads to mass illness and death of birds and significant economic losses.
At the end of 2020, more than one and a half million birds died in North Kazakhstan Region alone because of an avian influenza outbreak. In Kyzylzhar District, where the main poultry farms are located, the poultry population fell by 61%. This led to a sharp rise in the prices of eggs and chicken meat. This year, avian influenza has flared up in Akmola, North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar Regions. As a result, birds have died en masse and quarantine has been imposed in villages.
A sick bird can be recognized by the following signs: sneezing, wheezing, a bluish comb, watery eyes, ruffled feathers, paralysis of the neck, wings and legs, swelling of the head and neck, trembling, diarrhea, and a decrease in or complete cessation of egg production.
Unfortunately, all bird species are susceptible to influenza, but in chickens the disease most often progresses rapidly and without symptoms, resulting in 100% mortality.
Birds can be protected from disease by boosting their immunity. AL KARAL’s main components are fulvic and humic acids. These acids envelop the virus and prevent it from multiplying and entering healthy cells. In addition, these acids saturate the body with beneficial components and strengthen the birds’ health.
